Dr. Uma Bharti Sahu

Dr. Uma Bharati Sahu is an Assistant Professor at Zoology Department, Daulat Ram College, with a strong academic foundation in Fish Endocrinology and Molecular Biology. Her work spans research, publishing, and teaching, demonstrating a deep commitment to advancing scientific knowledge.

She completed her Ph.D. on Insulin-like Growth Factors (IGFs) in the Indian freshwater catfish, Heteropneustes fossilis, focusing on their role in fish reproduction and aquaculture productivity. With expertise in molecular characterization, bioinformatics, and fish physiology, she actively contributes to scientific research and student mentorship, while navigating the challenges of academic publishing.
