Capacity Building Faculty Workshop on Drosophila and Zebrafish Model Organism

Workshop Objectives

1. To learn basic requirements for setting up Drosophila and Zebrafish labs.
2. To learn to handle, breed and maintain Drosophila and Zebrafish model organisms.
3. To learn more about biological processes, genetics, developmental biology, drug discovery, toxicology, and human diseases using these model organisms.
4. To learn to design experiments using these model organisms and their application in research.
