Dr. Arti Jain

Dr. Arti Jain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. She obtained her PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Delhi in 2013 and has over 12 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. Her research focuses on developing environmentally benign protocols for traditional organic reactions, utilizing agricultural waste in line with cradle-to-cradle principles, and designing sustainable alternatives such as green catalysts, solvent systems, and composite materials. She has authored over 30 international research publications, 20 book chapters, 15 papers in conference proceedings, and holds two patents. Dr. Jain has actively contributed to organizing national and international conferences, skill development programs, and has served as a resource person in more than 14 workshops, and SDPs organized by institutions including DRC, CIE, K.R. Mangalam University, SCERT, and MGICC. She has successfully led two innovation projects funded by the University of Delhi, mentoring 18 students and receiving an appreciation certificate for her contributions. Additionally, she has participated in around 50 national and international conferences, delivered numerous invited talks, worked as a resource person for the INSPIRE Science Camp, and has been involved in two Navdhara projects. Dr. Jain aspires to be a compassionate and inspiring educator, deeply connected with her students, while continuing to promote and integrate the principles of sustainability in both her teaching and research practices.
