Mrs. Ritu Khanna

Ritu Khanna is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, Daulat Ram College. She completed her graduation from Hindu College, Delhi University and did her Masters from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University. Thereafter she completed her M.Phil. from Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, Jawaharlal Nehru University. She has over 26 years of teaching experience including a stint at Catholic University (Lisbon, Portugal), St. Stephens College (Delhi University), Miranda House and Kamala Nehru College. She has worked on major and minor innovation projects of Delhi University and has several publications to her credit. She has presented her research work in many national and international conferences and won “Best Paper” awards for her research work. She has also been involved as part of the organizing committee of UGC-Madan Mohan Malviya Teachers Training Program, S.G.T.B. Khalsa College. This program is being conducted under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, for training and sensitizing teachers at the University level towards the New Education Policy, 2020. She has held several important administrative posts during her career including serving as the Bursar of Daulat Ram College (2016-2021) and Deputy Superintendent of Examinations. Her areas of interest include Environmental Economics, Comparative Economic Development, Indian Economy, Economic History of India and Macro-economics.
