Dr. Anna Senrung

Dr. Anna Senrung has been a permanent faculty member in the Department of Zoology at Daulat Ram College (DRC), University of Delhi, since 2015. She currently teaches Evolutionary Biology, Ecology, Comparative anatomy, and Developmental Biology. As a researcher, Dr. Senrung specializes in studying angiogenesis within the Glioblastoma (GBM) tumour microenvironment, utilizing 2D, 3D, and ex-ovo chick embryo CAM GBM model systems. Aligning with her expertise, Dr. Senrung serves as a Co-PI in an ongoing CSIR project (Project File Number: 25WS(029)/2023-24/EMR-II/ASPIRE) and an in-house Navdhara project. She also mentors students at the Neuropharmacology, Drug delivery, and Cancer Research Laboratory (NDCRL), DRC, providing training in fundamental cancer research techniques and in-silico drug discovery. Dr. Senrung is deeply interested in advancing nanobiotechnology for enhanced antiangiogenic and anticancer drug delivery strategies.
