Dr. Rakhi Singh

Dr. Rakhi Singh has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Daulat Ram College since 2018. She holds an M.A. in Psychology from Patna University, Bihar, and was awarded a Ph.D. in Psychology by Magadh University, Patna.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Singh has actively contributed to the administrative functioning of the college. She has held various positions such as Association In-Charge of the Psychology Department, Convenor of the Fine Arts Society, and member of several committees including the B.A. Programme Committee, Discipline Committee, and Swachhta Committee, among others.Dr. Singh has a diverse range of research publications in areas such as parenting, the impact of social media on adolescents, successful aging, bullying as an outcome of childhood abuse, and organizational behaviour. She has also served as a project guide for M.A. Psychology students at IGNOU for several years.

Over the course of her academic career, Dr. Singh has taught a variety of undergraduate courses, including Social Psychology, Psychology of Gender, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, and Understanding Mental Disorders.
